Amazonianists will be sure to enjoy Zachary O’Hagan’s blog, especially if you are interested the languages of Peruvian Amazonia. There several quite substantial posts there, including this one that argues that toponymic evidence suggests that the colonial-era ‘Maina’ were speakers of a language closely related to modern Candoshi.
